Mowing

Ensuring the proper mow height is extremely important in caring for your lawn.  Blades need to be sharpened to ensure a clean cut, dull blades will cut poorly and make the grass move susceptible to disease.  It is also important to never remove more than 1/3 the blade length or you will weaken the lawn.

Different grass types have varying heights in which they thrive:

Bermuda Grass                  1.0 to 1.5      Inches

St. Augustine Grass          3.0 to 3.5     Inches

Bahia Grass                          3.0 to 3.5     Inches

Zoysia Grass                        1.0                  Inches

Centipede Grass                 1.0 to 1.5     Inches
